1. Warranty Periods
All electrical components come with a 30-day replacement warranty, unless otherwise stated in writing. Electrical items are strictly replacement only – no refunds will be issued.
All other parts (excluding electrical items) are covered by a 3-month parts replacement warranty. All warranties are strictly parts only.
2. Limitation of Liability
Just Tesla Parts will not be held responsible for any consequential loss or damage, including but not limited to:
Labour costs
Towing expenses
Loss of income or downtime
Any other costs arising from the failure of parts sold
3. Drive Unit, Gearbox & Differential Warranty Conditions
The warranty on drive units, transmissions, gearboxes, and associated components is strictly three months from the date of invoice, with no exceptions.
Warranty claims will be void and rejected if failure occurs due to:
a) Incorrect or insufficient lubricant or fluid levels
b) Overheating or missing components (e.g., sensors, cooling system parts)
c) Failure to perform proper maintenance as per Tesla specifications
d) Unauthorised repairs, alterations, or dismantling
e) Improper installation and/or incorrect application
f) Accident damage, overloading, or misuse
4. Drive Unit Accessories Disclaimer
Drive units are sold as long bare units. Any accessories supplied with the drive unit are provided for your convenience only. If you choose to use our supplied accessories:
They are not covered by warranty
They may or may not be suitable for your Tesla
We strongly recommend transferring your existing accessories to the new drive unit
The Company is not liable for labour costs associated with transferring accessories or for any warranty on such items.
5. Warranty Claim Process
In the event of a warranty claim, The Company reserves the right to recover any costs incurred during:
Dismantling and inspection
Repairs
Out-of-pocket expenses
Freight charges
If a dispute arises, an agreed independent third party may be engaged to adjudicate the claim.
6. General Provisions
The Company will not be held responsible for any verbal or implied representations made outside of this written policy.
All warranty claims must be accompanied by an official receipt/invoice.
7. Returns Policy
a) No returns accepted after 7 days from the invoice date.
b) No returns on cut sections or modified parts.
c) Special buy-in items will not be accepted for credit or return.
d) Any parts that have been dismantled or pulled apart are void of all return and warranty claims.
e) All Special Order Items are strictly non-returnable.
8. Freight & Shipping
Interstate and international freight can be arranged on behalf of the customer.
Important Notes:
Goods are deemed to have left our possession once:
a) Collected by a freight company, OR
b) Left our driver’s possession
Once goods are in transit, all responsibility (including freight costs, insurance, etc.) transfers to the customer.
Returns will only be accepted if the item is returned to our premises.
Freight must be pre-paid unless prior arrangements are made with The Company, who will make the final decision regarding freight company and charges.
9. Panels & Interior Parts Policy
Panels are sold as inspected. It is the buyer’s responsibility to verify:
Correct colour – no colour match is guaranteed
Correct make, model, and body type (e.g., Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y)
Returns due to incorrect colour or specification will be made at the buyer’s expense.
Panels and interior parts are accepted for return only if:
Returned in the same condition as when leaving our premises
Returned within the 7-day return limit
The Company will not be held responsible if incorrect information is provided by the customer.
